Which Wordpress Theme to choose?

» by Sloba in: Blogging

WordPress.com 3 Million BlogsThe best course of action to take sometimes isn’t clear until you’ve listed and considered your alternatives. The same is when you are choosing WordPress theme. The best platform for blogging, in my opinion, is WordPress. WordPress with its themes can give you professional looking site, and there are so many different free WordPress themes to choose from.
The best way is to choose blogging theme which is frequently updated. That way you are sure your theme will respond to all your requirements. I can say there are few free WordPress themes which are excellent, and you can find decent help. For instance, cutline WordPress theme is very popular, and that is not accident. It’s free, support is strong with even forum, so users can that way change and adjust cutline WordPress theme to own needs. Recently they have released new update.

In the moment I am writing this post, I am using Xmark WordPress theme, which is really nice designed, and it brings two sidebars, what is important for me, because of supporting content, which can be easily adjusted to sidebars. Author of this theme is Lisa Sabin Wilson and she has a blog dedicated to the theme, so you can get support that way if you encounter any problem.

Also, you can check this selected list of 10 professional looking WordPress themes. And there is no need to wander any further. You have these 10 professional themes, cutline and xmark WordPress themes to choose from. It’s almost impossible that some of them don’t meet your requirements.

On the other hand, if you are willing to surpass your competition, and if you’re in position to invest for the WordPress theme, then Revolution Themes are solutions. Professional looking, great design, full support with tutorials and forum. I am switching soon. Yeah! For Pro bloggers and for people who are planning a serious online business this could be a smart move, because Revolution themes are offering practical and functional set of static pages, additional to blog post template.

Btw, you are able to find many free blogging tools on the market, but accumulating up your weblog with all of the free add-ons that you can get isn’t inevitably an idea which guarantees success. If you are thinking to add a flashy background and banners, an exciting new font, and a bunch of offbeat animated appends to your blog, as a matter of fact, this kind of plan can easily backfire. The key to getting the most from free weblog tools is to be selective.
Only pick the options that you think will actually be effective. If your WordPress weblog is text-based, a flashy background can be more a distraction than a benefit. Be realistic about evaluating what kinds of blog add-ons and which theme will help you to improve your WordPress weblog. Remember that even a blog tool that doesn’t cost you any cash may not be an asset if it isn’t used to the purpose. Free or paid, always look for what can best fit for you.
